Privacy Notice

Owls Investment Group LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as OWLS Capital ("OWLS Capital," "we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy. This Privacy Notice explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. It applies to our Discord community, live trading sessions, paid memberships sold through Whop, and any related services (collectively, the "Services").

1. Scope of This Notice

This Notice applies to information collected through:

• Our Discord community
• Our subscription, billing, and access platform Whop
• Communications with us (email, direct messages, support requests)
• Promotions, events, and community activities we operate

We do not currently operate a standalone website for user registration or checkout. All purchases and account management are handled through Whop.

2. Third-Party Platforms

We sell access to our Services through Whop. Whop manages subscriptions, billing, and payment processing. Any personal information Whop collects is processed according to Whop's own Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers, bank details, or other sensitive financial authentication data.

Our community is hosted on Discord, which independently collects and processes certain user data under its own privacy policy.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information You Provide

• Name or username
• Email address
• Discord username and Discord user ID
• Subscription status and plan tier (from Whop)
• Communications you send to us
• Content you voluntarily share in our Discord community

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Discord activity visible to server administrators (channels joined, voice session attendance, message counts)
• Whop account metadata (subscription status, purchase history, refund activity)
• Limited engagement data from any email communications we send

3.3 Payment Information

Payments are processed entirely by Whop and its payment processors. We do not collect or store credit or debit card numbers, bank details, or payment authentication data.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information for legitimate business purposes, including:

• Providing access to our Discord community and paid channels
• Managing subscriptions and member access
• Communicating about services, updates, and support
• Moderating the community and enforcing our Terms of Service
• Administering promotions, giveaways, and community events
• Responding to privacy requests and legal obligations
• Improving our services and community experience

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Trading & Financial Information Disclaimer

Our Services are educational and informational only. We do not provide personalized financial, investment, or trading advice.

We do not collect information for the purpose of assessing your financial suitability, net worth, investment objectives, or risk tolerance. Any trading-related content shared within our Services is general in nature and should not be construed as financial advice.

6. How We Share Information

We share personal information only when necessary:

• With Whop and Discord, as required to provide the Services
• With trusted service providers who help us operate (e.g., email delivery, analytics), each of whom is contractually required to protect your information
• To comply with legal obligations, court orders, or subpoenas
• To protect our rights, safety, or the integrity of the community
• In connection with a business transfer (e.g., merger, acquisition, or sale of assets)

We do not share personal data for third-party marketing purposes.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as:

• You maintain an active subscription or Discord membership, or
• It is necessary to comply with legal, accounting, or operational requirements

When no longer required, information is deleted or anonymized where reasonably possible.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information, and we rely on the security practices of Whop and Discord for data they handle on our behalf. However, no electronic transmission or storage system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Privacy Rights

9.1 General Rights

You may request to:

• Access personal information we control
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of personal information we control
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time

Subscription management and billing changes must be handled through your Whop account. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@owls.capital. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

9.2 California Residents (CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect and why
• Request deletion of personal information we control
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information
• Limit use of sensitive personal information (if applicable)
• Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights

We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CPRA.

9.3 Residents of Other US States

If you reside in a US state that grants additional privacy rights (such as Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Utah, or Oregon), you may have rights similar to those described above. Contact us to exercise them.

9.4 EU, UK, and International Users

If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. If you are located in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws, you may have additional rights under those laws, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. Do-Not-Track Signals

We do not currently respond to browser Do-Not-Track signals, as no uniform industry standard has been adopted.

11. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us.

12. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to remain compliant with applicable laws and reflect operational changes. Material updates will be communicated through our Services or community channels, and the Effective Date above will be revised.
